Bangor Township is Hiring Paid-on-Call Firefighters
Bangor Township Fire Department is accepting applications for paid-on-call (POC) firefighters. POC firefighters assist the full-time staff in meeting the community’s ever-growing emergency service needs. No experience is required to apply, but the hiring process includes written, oral, and physical ability testing. Minimum applicant requirements:
- US citizen
- Minimum age of 18
- Valid Michigan driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reside in Bangor Township or within 5 miles of a fire station
To apply, pick up an application from Bangor Township Administration Building, 180 State Park Drive. All completed applications are to be returned to the attention of Fire Chief Rob Glenn at the above address not later than 5:00 p.m. October 1, 2021.

Elections Inspector Application
Print and submit a completed Election Inspector Application to:
Bangor Charter Township Clerk, 180 State Park Drive, Bay City, MI 48706.
Applications will be considered for future elections. Rate of pay is $110 for a full day. (Partial day can be considered). Certification training is provided to successful applicants.
